All completed cleanings from the current week are paid the following Friday through Gusto. For example, cleanings completed during this week will be included in your payment the following Friday.

No. Cleaning opportunities are offered with a set cleaner payout for each appointment. The hourly equivalent can vary depending on the scope, condition, and amount of time required for the cleaning.

What happens if a cleaning takes longer than expected?

If the condition or scope of the property is significantly different from what was provided, contact our team as soon as possible so we can review the situation with you before additional work is completed.

Do I have to accept every cleaning?

No. You can choose which cleaning opportunities you would like to accept based on your schedule, service area, experience, and preferences.

Do I have guaranteed hours?

No. Available cleaning opportunities depend on customer demand, location, your availability, and the types of cleaning jobs you are qualified and equipped to complete.

Can I have my own cleaning business?

Yes. You may own your own cleaning business and continue working with your own clients. Customers introduced to you through Peoria Cleaning Pros must continue to book and pay for their services through Peoria Cleaning Pros.

How much cleaning experience do I need?

We are generally looking for cleaning professionals with at least 2 years of paid cleaning experience.

Do I need reliable transportation?

Yes. Cleaning partners need reliable transportation to travel to customer locations.

Do I provide my own cleaning supplies and equipment?

Yes. Cleaning partners generally provide their own cleaning supplies and equipment for the appointments they accept.

Do I need insurance?

Liability insurance may be required depending on the type of cleaning opportunity or partnership arrangement.

Is a background check required?

Applicants should be prepared to complete a background screening as part of the screening and onboarding process.

Do I need a smartphone?

Yes. Cleaning partners need a smartphone to review appointments, communicate with our team, let us know when they arrive, update job status, and take and submit cleaning photos.

Yes. We ask cleaning partners to provide before and after photos when appropriate. Photos help document the condition of the property and the completed work and can help protect everyone if questions arise about the condition of the home or cleaning scope.

What kinds of cleaning opportunities may be available?

Opportunities may include recurring residential cleaning, deep cleaning, heavy duty cleaning, move in and move out cleaning, commercial cleaning, turnover cleaning, and post renovation cleaning.

Can I work with another cleaner or a team?

This may depend on your approved partnership setup and the specific cleaning opportunity. Any additional cleaners may need to meet Peoria Cleaning Pros requirements before working on referred appointments.
