Service Terms & Client Agreement

1. Introduction

Welcome to Peoria Cleaning Pros. By scheduling or receiving cleaning services, you agree to the policies and terms outlined in this document. These terms are designed to ensure transparency, protect our team, and provide the best service experience possible.

2. Services Provided Peoria Cleaning Pros offers:

  • One-time deep cleaning
  • Standard recurring cleaning (weekly, biweekly, monthly)
  • Move-in / move-out cleaning
  • Commercial cleaning
  • Turnover & rental cleaning
  • Add-on services (inside fridge, oven, windows, etc.)

Services Not Provided

For transparency and to ensure the safety of both our clients and team members,
Peoria Cleaning Pros does not provide the following services:

  • Cleaning or organizing excessive clutter beyond agreed scope
  • Carpet shampooing or upholstery cleaning
  • Cleaning pet bowls, mats, or litter boxes
  • Cleanup of bodily fluids or pet waste
  • Blind cleaning (light dusting only)
  • Ceiling fans are cleaned when safely reachable, while ceiling-mounted light fixtures are only lightly dusted unless removed by the client for thorough cleaning, as we do not disassemble or reinstall fixtures.
  • Unclogging drains or replacing light bulbs
  • Moving heavy furniture or appliances (we will clean accessible areas only; clients may move items beforehand if deeper cleaning is desired)
  • Cleaning inside washers, dryers, or dishwashers
  • Removing adhesives, shelf liners, or similar materials
  • Full wall washing (limited to spot cleaning around light switches and high-touch areas)
 

Cleaning results may vary depending on the condition, age, and material of surfaces.
While we strive to achieve the best possible outcome, some stains, buildup, or
damage may be permanent and not fully removable.

3. Arrival Window & Cleaning Duration

We will arrive within the scheduled arrival window unless delays occur due to traffic, weather, or similar unexpected issues. If a delay is expected, we will notify you. 

Our flat‐rate pricing covers all standard services included in the selected cleaning package. If additional work is required due to the home’s size, condition, or special circumstances, supplemental fees may apply. Any such adjustments will be communicated to the client at the start of service, ensuring full transparency before work begins.

4. Photos & Videos

A. Pre-Service Photos
We may request photos or videos of your home to accurately assess condition and provide proper pricing.

B. Quality Assurance Photography
Our cleaners may take before, during, and/or after photos for internal quality control and documentation. 

  • Images will focus only on serviced areas.
  • Personal or sensitive items will be avoided.
  • With customer consent, photos may be used for training or marketing.
  • If you have areas you do not want photographed, please inform us before your appointment.
 

5. Supplies & Equipment

Peoria Cleaning Pros provides all standard cleaning supplies and equipment necessary for scheduled services. If a client prefers specific products or tools to be used, those items must be supplied by the client and made available prior to the
appointment. Special accommodations may be arranged in advance to ensure preferences are respected.

Natural / Eco-Friendly Product Disclaimer
Peoria Cleaning Pros may use natural, eco-friendly, or non-toxic cleaning products upon request or as part of our standard service approach. While these products are safer for people, pets, and surfaces, they may not be as strong as traditional chemical cleaners.

As a result, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of heavy buildup, stains, hard water deposits, grease, or other deep-set residues when using natural products. By requesting or accepting these products, the client acknowledges and understands that results may be limited compared to the use of stronger chemical solutions.

6. Working Conditions & Safety

Our team will not provide services under unsafe or hazardous conditions, including
but not limited to:

  • Biohazards
  • Pest infestations
  • Excessive hoarding
  • Aggressive pets
  • Threatening or inappropriate behavior
 

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if conditions prevent safe
cleaning.

7. Window Cleaning Policy

Interior window cleaning is available as an add‐on service and includes:

✔ Interior glass

✔ Window frames

✔ Windowsills

✔ Ledges

Please note, we don’t provide:
✘ Blinds cleaning beyond light dusting
✘ Track cleaning (we do not open windows to access tracks)
✘ Screen removal or reinstallation

Customers must remove screens prior to the appointment if they want windows
cleaned.

8. Damage & Liability

We handle your home with care; however:

  • Please remove fragile, sentimental, or high-value items from cleaning areas.
  • We are not liable for damage to items that were already unstable, improperly secured, or fragile.
  • We do not accept responsibility for normal wear and tear or cosmetic imperfections.
 

Report any concerns within 24 hours with photos.

9. Satisfaction Guarantee

We provide a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee:

  • A walkthrough is encouraged before and immediately after service.
  • If you’re unavailable, notify us within 24 hours regarding any areas requiring attention.
  • We will return to re-clean those areas free of charge.

After 24 hours, the service is considered complete.

10. Billing & Payment

  • A card authorization hold may be placed prior to service.
  • Final payment is processed once cleaning is completed.
  • Tips are appreciated but never required.
  • Late or declined payments must be resolved before additional services can be scheduled.

11. Cancellation, Reschedule & Refund Policy

A. Cancellation Policy
Cancel 24+ hours before appointment:
✔No fee
Cancel within 24 hours:
➜ 50% of the service total is charged
Cleaner arrives and cannot enter OR cancellation occurs at the door:
➜ 100% of the service total is charged

B. Rescheduling
Reschedules follow the same timelines and fees as cancellations.

C. Refunds
Refunds are only issued for:

  • Billing errors
  • Duplicate charges
  • Inability to complete service due to our fault

We do not offer refunds for dissatisfaction — instead, we provide a free re-clean.

12. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information during booking.
  • Ensure safe and timely access to the property.
  • Secure pets when necessary.
  • Reduce clutter to allow efficient cleaning.
  • Inform us of special conditions (pet hair, heavy buildup, smoking residue, etc.).
  • Failure to disclose significant conditions may result in adjusted pricing.
  • Communicate any allergies or sensitivities before service. Standard cleaning products may include conventional or eco-friendly solutions. If specific products are requested, they must be communicated in advance. Peoria Cleaning Pros is not responsible for cleaning limitations resulting from product restrictions.
  • Clients must provide any special requests or instructions before the scheduled cleaning so our team can prepare accordingly. Requests made at the time of service may not be accommodated.
  • Avoid scheduling other services (e.g., contractors, repairs, maintenance) or hosting events during cleaning. If conflicts occur, Peoria Cleaning Pros may reschedule or terminate service, and applicable fees may apply.

13. Liability Limitations

Peoria Cleaning Pros is not responsible for:

  • Fragile items not removed before service
  • Artwork, décor, or accessories that are loose or improperly mounted
  • Mold, mildew, or structural issues
  • Damage to items caused by age, instability, or pre-existing damage

14. Termination of Services

We may terminate service for:

  • Repeated last-minute cancellations
  • Unsafe conditions
  • Nonpayment
  • Harassment or disrespectful behavior
  • Violations of policy terms

15. Agreement

By booking or receiving services from Peoria Cleaning Pros, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all terms, conditions, and policies outlined in this document.
